Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable
Job Summary:
A Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company, managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising the accounting team, preparing and analyzing financial statements, monitoring cash flow and financial performance, developing financial controls and policies, collaborating with senior management on strategic planning, providing financial analysis and insights, and managing relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee financial operations and processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key financial metrics
Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and manage the accounting team
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
- Inspire and motivate the team to achieve financial goals
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management on decision-making and strategic planning
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to drive business performance
- Support the organization’s goals and objectives through financial guidance
Key Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
Experience:
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Supervisory roles in accounting or finance
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Analytical and Communication Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Leadership and Teamwork:
