Job Summary:
A Construction Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Their key responsibilities include interpreting design plans, coordinating with architects and contractors, managing project schedules and budgets, conducting site inspections, resolving construction issues, and ensuring that all work is carried out according to specifications and regulations. Construction Engineers use their technical expertise to coordinate and supervise construction activities, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the successful completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Interpret design plans and specifications for construction projects
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Procure materials and equipment necessary for construction
Construction Oversight and Management:
- Supervise and manage construction activities on-site
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work

Key Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
